Hahaha! Seems the both of us have this in common too; there was also a time I actually thought going to the gym was meant for the obese (hehe, I should’ve added this to my post), but I’m glad you got to know the true deal. Keeping fit is for everyone; male, female, young and old.
Keeping fit doesn’t mean you have to go to the gym and lift heavy things. Nahhhh, I once tried lifting heavy things at the gym, I regretted immediately when my body started hurting me and I was unable to carry things, or even walk properly. You can keep fit just in your house by doing simple exercises.
I love the things you do to stay healthy and fit; they are simple and very nice.
Nutritious food. Yes, you’re right, eating nutritious food is a way of keeping fit. There is a well known saying “you are what you eat”. We shouldn’t eat anyhow, but we should eat a balanced diet. That way we’ll get the necessary nutrients. And just like you’ve said, we should avoid junks.
Walking is also a good form of exercise. My mom brought me up with this. Every morning, we walk to church for morning mass (morning services) yes! Everyday! It is a 15 minutes walk. And trust me when I say, it is really a good way to stretch your body. I think walking can even help easy stress.
And finally, skipping. I can’t remember the last time I used a skipping rope😂. But I know it is a good way to exercise, just like running or brisk walking.
