Good day everyone! This is going to be 41th week of Hive Learners Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Author of The Week About?
The Author of the Week is about selecting every week four great contents shared from our weekly prompt in the community for you to check out, engage and vote for your best contest through polls on Hive from leofinance threads. This way, we encourage authors to be active and be the best in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 4 Posts would be selected from the weekly prompt questions
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the selected authors
- Polls would be drawn on Leo threads to choose your best Author
- 60% reward of that weekly post would be distributed between Most Popular Author & Best Author of the Week
How Do You Vote?
- First make sure you have your hive account logged in to leofinance.io
- The polls link would be shared in the announcement posts and also via our Discord Channel
This author, @shawnnft talks about making the world a better place by helping people out in whatever way we can. He also tells us that there are different ways to help someone that doesn't necessarily involve giving them money.
Lovely Tree with waste bottles - Creative Sunday
This author, @semarekha, shows us how to be really creative by making use of empty plastic bottles and colored papers to make really beautiful flowers or trees.
Increments, Incentives & Mandatory Benefits Together with Livable Wage Over Equal Pay
This author, @saydie talks about equal pay and how although it might sound like a good idea at first, it would end up becoming disastrous. He also went further to tell us ways he feels things can be improved.
Creative-Sunday : Slide Head Effect
This author, @ykdesign shows us how to make really cool edits on photos using photoshop. In this tutorial, she shows us how to make a slide head effect.
Here are the four posts for voting via leothread polls:-
Time To Vote
After voting your favorite post (based on overall content quality and engagement of that particular week), you must share your thoughts and expressions in detail under this post, regarding why you've decided to choose that particular post. Best Author
@ayamihaya has been selected as the best author of the previous week by a judging panel of the community. Congratulations to both of them and the reward would be distributed soon.
60% payout of this post will be distributed between this week's most popular author & best author selected by judge panel of the community, and 20% payout of this post will be sent to @weeklytops for marketing purpose of the campaign
wow congratz ayamihaya. Well deserved and nice to see there's agreement with that post being outstanding.
The first author is my post and I'm not voting myself but just to summarize, I talk about how we can help the world be better by volunteer and giving our time to help those in need as well as sharing some of my past experiences volunteering
The second author made a tree out of three water bottles. I believe this is the 2nd time i've seen this type of work done so it wasn't as surprising as the first time I saw it. I think it was smart use of finding a water bottle with a greenish color as it helped fit the color of a tree. I think it's creative and it's a post worth loooking at if you're someone that likes DIY / creating stuff with random objects type of stuff.
The third author talked about his ideas of equal pay and how he would use a livable wage that was flexible to make up for the potential increase in expenses and he also talked about other mandatory benefits. Actually i had a long discussion with him in the comments so feel free to add on to our conversation :D
The last author shared a Photoshop tutorial on how to make a sliced head effect. I've never used photoshop personally but the directions seem very detailed that even a noob like me could probably pull it off as long as they followed the directions I also thought the idea was kinda funny to slice the head.
All the posts were equally great and this one is a total flyer. I'm voting for the one that made me laugh so I will be voting for Ykdesign as his slide head effect was something that probably put a smile on peoples face when they saw the post.
Thank you 😊 for the support💖
You're welcome ! :D
Congratulations @ayamihaya on being the top author of the week for last week. Well deserved! 🎉
And congratulations to the nominees for this week's poll.
It takes a heart of gold to know more than just financial ways to make good changes in the world and in the lives of people, and as well be willing to use them. I like the post by @shawnnft and his act of service to people that need help by volunteering in a program, and that he'll do it again when it comes up soon.
The second author's art blew my mind. I was impressed by the way they crafted out something so beautiful and creative from just used bottles. That's a brilliant way to recycle plastic. They'll have my vote this weekend. Very well done. @semarekha
@saydie perspective to equality and equity in pay is similar to mine, but I particularly love the length they went to butress their point, and how they went as far as suggesting practical, yet effective ways to ensure that people get what they deserve according to specific parameters they explained.
I love a good work of art, and that includes post-production and edits in photography. That effect of splitting a head like it's a log of wood by @ykdesign was impressive. I picked interesting techniques from their tutorial. Hopefully, I'll get to see more their works in the future. I look forward to them.
I wish the nominees good luck!
Thanks a lot groot 🥰

Congratz ayamihaya!!
Well i have already my vote...this posts talk about the benefits of volunteering which is is very important for me!
Best author 😳 wow! thanks a lot. I am very much honoured.
Congratulations to others and thanks to Hive Learners for giving me the opportunity 💖
Lots of love 💕
Many many congratulations @ayamihaya
Congratulations to all the nominated users and I know all of them deserve the place because of what they get nominated.
To be honest still now I still haven't read all the posts of the nominated users post and so I am not going to vote at the current time but I promise to read all the nominated posts and then I will make my vote tomorrow.
Congratulations to Ayamihaya for being a winner in the last week. I was also expecting her winner.
I have voted for @saydie, as i think increment and incentives are necessary to cope with the growing inflation. You basic pay is not going to full fill your basic needs.
congratulations to winner and good luck to new selected authors. greetings :)
