So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our third topic for this week which is “SHOULD YOUR DATA BE PRIVATE?”
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “DON’T BREAK THE CHAIN”
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time someone did an act of kindness to them and it inspired them to do the same for others. In a way, it’s doing to others, the good things that were done to us.
We got to see that truly, there are good people in the world. And as long as they exist, there will always be a reason to believe in humanity. Being kind is its own reward. It shouldn’t be something we do because we expect thanks or anything else in exchange. We should simply be good for goodness sake.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w110e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about how a friend of his helped him to secure a job amidst the increasing rate of unemployment that was hitting the country. This inspired him to help others as well and any time there was a vacancy, he made sure he reached out to those he was sure needed the job. And that’s what he has been doing ever since.
For this author, he told us about how he was helped by a friend when he was stranded on his way home from church. His friend had helped him secure transportation when he couldnt afford it. Years later, he did the same thing to someone else, and both encounters birthed beautiful relationships for him that are valid to this day.

This author shared with us how a small act of kindness helped her to meet the lady who would turn out to be her best friend. And that alone became the inspiration to them opening up a foundation where they helped out people in need.

congratz everybody and yes i think our data should be private ; ; wasnt able to write a psot on it but i think most would probably say yes O.o if anybody say no plz do feature it in the winners cuz im curious to see how they defend that position
