So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week which is “CONTACT SPORT”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “WHEN SHOULD I TIP?”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the different scenarios where people can tip workers. For some, it’s necessary to tip and for others, it’s a choice. In some organizations, tipping is mandatory.
We got to see some of the extreme cases of tipping that some members have experienced. It’s not usually a commendable thing but it’s something that happens way more often than one would like. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w139e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us that tipping doesn’t have to be mandatory. It’s something that should be borne of free will. Making tipping mandatory will cause service providers to go above and beyond just to get a tip. However, if everyone will show this token of appreciation, life will be so much easier.

For this author, she’s a huge fan of tipping people who deserve it. She tips those who perform exceptional services and it’s always a thing of joy for her. However, once she figures out that the person doesn't deserve it, nothing stops her from withholding the tip. In the end, we all must apply wisdom when tipping. It’s very important.

For this author, he believes that there are many reasons why people will not tip service providers. It could be personal reasons or the quality of service that they got. Either way, anything can influence the rate of tipping, or the lack of it thereof. He emphasized that tipping should be given to those who deserve it and to encourage exceptional work.
