So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week which is “HEALTH CHECK”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “LOVE SHOULD BE ENOUGH”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing with us their opinions on the idea of love being enough for a good marriage. In a world where prenups are becoming increasingly rampant, it’s beginning to look like love may not be enough if the marriage is going to last.

We got to see the different opinions on the topic, some supported the idea that indeed love wasn’t enough and a prenup was important when getting married. However, there were those who argued for the opposite, willing to risk it all for the sake of love. It was an enlightening topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w150e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us that in her opinion, signing a prenup was a good idea. While it wasn’t something that could be agreed on emotionally, logic should be allowed to come into play because in the long run, the prenup, once agreed upon, will protect the interest of the couple. That is what is most important.

For this author, he very much agrees that love should be enough, especially when it comes to marriage, seeing as it’s a deal between two people to spend their lives with each other, forever. Also, if he was made to choose, he wouldn’t sign a prenup. It was an act that took the love and sanctity out of the act of marriage.

For this author, he agreed that signing a prenup was important. As a matter of fact, it was necessary, because it prepares the couple for any unforeseen legal issues that might arise in the future. But then, no one can predict how a marriage could go, so the most a person could do is hope.
