Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be Week 33, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.

So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our second topic for the week which is, “TALENT DISCOVERY”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “REJECTION”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time they experienced rejection.

We got to see what being rejected put them through, how they were able to cope, and how they were able to use it to make themselves better and eventually rise above the occasion. It was an inspiring topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w33e1 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below:

THE LOVE LETTER REJECTIONS by @temibot

This author told us about how he had over the years been applying to different scholarship programs and none of them paid off. And eventually, he succeeded and secured a scholarship. Of course, it was not easy, and the rejection made him feel like giving up at times, but he was steadfast and in the end, he got what he was after.

THEY DON’T NEED ME by @deimage

This author talked about the time he was applying for jobs, moving from place to place trying to secure gainful employment. And he was not succeeding. He also shared another experience with rejection in the aspect of love. He learned from his experiences though, and that is what matters.

THE REJECTION THAT ENDED IN MY REGRET by @rahmantandesti

This author told us about the time he had to make his feelings known to a love interest, but it did not work out as hoped. Instead, it seemed to push the person further away from him. Yeah, some days are like that indeed. You can read the full story to know what truly happened.
