So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is “CHEAP OR EXPENSIVE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “FACE OF THE CURRENCY”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling about their thoughts on who should be on the face of their country’s currency. From patriotic citizens to less recognized people who have done good work, there are so many people who deserve to stand as the face of the currency.

We got to see so many individuals that can fill such big shoes. Based on what they’ve done in the past, it will not be surprising to see many of them given that honor. It was an enlightening topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w89e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author has a number of people he believes will be a good fit as the face of the naira in Nigeria. From Umar Musa Yar’Adua to Dora Akunyili and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, there are so many people who have done great deeds for the country and deserve such honor. That way, their acts will be set in stone for posterity.

PLEASE, REMOVE ROYALTY FACES IN OUR CURRENCY by @gwajnberg

This author told us that a good idea would be to get rid of the royal faces on the currency and put in the faces of people who have greatly helped the country of Canada. From Wilfrid Laurier and all the way to Terry Fox, there are so many Canadians who have done great selfless acts and as such, deserve the honor!

ARTURO USLAR PIETRI, AN ILLUSTRIOUS VENEZUELAN @nbarrios67

This author shared the beautiful story of a man who took the growth and well-being of his people to heart. Arturo worked hard for the good of the people of Venezuela, and he was not scared of going after those who were seeking to oppress his people. Indeed, this would be an honor well-deserved.
