Solving challenges is quite useful but offering some help or guidance to the person is a lot better. In the end, I believe a balance should be created where the child isn't spoon-fed everything in life but at least they should be able to solve some of their problems themselves while proper guidance is provided.

Well that is true but then a parent can not really clear all obstacles a child will encounter in the future, they can only try as much possible to provide solutions to the issues they can foresee.
