WHAT IF THERE IS AN ‘ANOTHER ME’?

in Hive Learnerslast year

I am the type of person who imagines a lot, my imagination carries me to a lot of places, I can’t count how many times I have imagined being reborn or given the power to change my past.

Since I have grown a little bit and am quite knowledgeable, there are some things I considered a mistake or some things I wish for a change on. I believe we all have our wishes when we wish for a little change in our past.

I am not satisfied with my life or I am not satisfied with how I am living, there are some mistakes I have made that I know if I were to be reborn, I would not make the same mistakes. The life I am living now is not really productive or not doing really exploit, I believe my life can’t be perfect but at least some changes can be made.

First of all, I love my personality character, the only part of my personality I don’t like is the act of procrastination and laziness, honestly, this act is one of the problems that I am trying to overcome.

My family is amazing, There this so much love among us, through thick and thin we are always supporting each other. When I compare my family with other people’s families, I am always grateful, my family is one of the most peaceful families I have seen. My family is a Christian family, and I would very much love to keep it that way, I love being a Christian. The only thing to change is that my family should be a wealthy one, hehe.

Nigeria is a good country, a beautiful one indeed, honestly, I know a lot of people will not agree with this but I love being Nigerian is a whole lot of a vibe. The only issue in Nigeria as a country is poor governance and poor human rights, which is almost unbearable.

I am a proud African babe, I love being an African at all times, even if I were to be born one billion times, I would still choose to be an African. So, I would love to be a Nigerian living in a well-developed country where there is more opportunity like Canada, Norway.. and I would always come for holidays in Nigeria.

I have always loved to be a male but the part that gives me second thoughts is the responsibility part, what I love about males is the nonchalant attitude towards certain things while females worry about literally everything, especially the fashion aspect like stressing over nails and lash extensions, clothes, hair, body shape, makeup.. e.t.c. Do you get the point?

So, one final thought if I were to be reborn, I would love to be a female with a nice body, but who dresses like a male and about my physical appearance I don’t have too much to change, I am a natural fine girl, hehe, I would probably just change my eyes because my Iris is quite up and that is all.

Concerning myself, I love to be talented in writing, singing, and most especially cooking, and having a very nice interpersonal skills. I have always wondered what my talents are and I can’t figure them out, I just try to learn skills. So, if I was to be reborn, I would love to be so talented.

Not many people are glad of being a Nigerian and for that I'm proud of you, in fact for that I'm gifting you 50 ecency point😅.

Nonchalant? Definitely not, it is not all men that are not sensitive to details or fashion, have you seen some men these days, they take longer to dress than most females 😂. The reality and perspective of gender is changing, so such attribute are not pertaining to a specific gender anymore.

Being a man might come with a lot responsibilities but being a woman isn't easy either, women are mostly preyed upon. And not all countries gives women the recognition they deserve.

So in your next life you want to be a Tom boy, fantastic 😅

I very proud to be a Nigerian or an African in general. Yeah I saw it, I was quite surprised. Thanks.

Those men are another type of men, hehe. Another version.

Honestly, I don’t like being a woman, the pregnancy stuff usually scares me.

Yeah. I understand, women also hustle nowadays.

You are right when you said women do worry about a whole lot of things but men also have several worries as well 😉
Its nice to know you'll still stick with our gender and with your personality in the case of reincarnation.
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊

Shaa you want to be reborn a tomboy haha. It is true on how ladies worry endlessly on those things. It is simply annoying sometimes.

Thanks for writing.

Two things though.

First: a lot of people get after themselves for procrastination and laziness. Especially true when they have lots of things going on and can't seem to keep up. Then rest a little while and only seem to get further behind. Some people are truly lazy and some people do need to work on procrastination. However, always remember that your body DOES need some time to rest and recover.

One trick I've learned: Do the most important thing first. Then the next important thing and so on. It's amazing how productive you feel when you get the big awful stuff out of the way and it no longer worries you :)

Second: If you were reborn and came to Canada--being male wouldn't help you much. Men are expected to do just as much of the housework, bill paying, and other tasks as much as the women. In many cases more is expected from the men. You are better off being a woman (and dressing like a male if you prefer) if you come to Canada. In my own opinion as a Canadian myself :)

Yeah. I think my 'laziness' need some hardwork.

Thanks for the trick, I’ll be sure to try it out.

Hehe. I know right. Being female also come with child responsibility haha.

Lol, you are quite good-looking. I love how you wouldn't want to change your country even with the present state of things. Nigeria has always been a blessed land, and with the right people in power, I believe we would be one of the most respected powerholders of the world.

Nicely done!

I like the prestige that comes with the "I'm a proud African babe" sentence. It just shows much of a contented human being you are.

Yes oo. Black is beautiful.

Thank you pal
