A picturesque view of one of the two ponds in the Oruński Park.
Interesting fact about the park: it is located in the Oruński Stream Valley between the forested hills: the Mountain of Tears, the Clay Mountain and the Mountain of Five Brothers. The name of this first hill is associated with historical events. During the Napoleonic battles, the park was devastated, and a bloody fight between the French and Russian armies took place on the hill known today as the Mountain of Tears.
I highly recommend a walk under the branches of overhanging trees along the pond. An amazing experience. A paradise for the eyes...
