The course of history can be changed by the small decisions of individuals.
This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "Time Travel".
Hello dear readers of the Hive Learners community. Today, it is my turn to talk to you about the proposed topic, which is time travel. We are asked the question of what we would do if we had the opportunity to travel back in time and change a historical event. This is very interesting because, personally, I believe that among all the historical events I have been reading about and those my colleagues have shared, they generally focus on events related to their country of origin. In the case of Nigeria, slavery; in the case of Brazil, issues related to political parties, and so on. I think I would give it a more generalized and humanistic approach because the event I would focus on changing would be the First World War. I believe that all the conflicts and events that occurred in the First World War led to or caused the Second World War. Therefore, I believe that if the First World War had been avoided, we could have had a very different world. We could have had a 20th century with more international cooperation, with a greater number of alliances between countries, and we would probably have a better future because there would not be such significant differences between Russia and the United States, for example. Great alliances could have been established between the countries that now have so many differences and, obviously, without the First World War having occurred, we could have had collaboration and alliances of countries here in South America as well. But that is something we will never know because we can only fantasize about it, we can only imagine what could have happened. I believe that every fight that is avoided and every conflict that is peacefully resolved has a positive result and leads to a rational balance of things. Violence leads us nowhere, and I think avoiding it would have been beneficial for all humanity. The same applies to earlier periods of history because, for example, if I had the opportunity, I would have prevented the assassination of Julius Caesar. Perhaps if he had lived, the Roman Empire would have followed a different path, civil wars would have been avoided, and the political system would have been more stable, but that is something we cannot know. Finally, to mention another event that I would have liked to be able to change or have the opportunity to change are the Crusades. If all those religious campaigns in the name of religion had not occurred, the Islamic world and the Christian world could have had healthier, more peaceful relations with a better understanding, avoiding all those hundreds of years of conflicts, fights, battles, and differences that persist to this day. Apart from all the atrocities committed in the name of religion and the Crusades, which were truly barbaric. Therefore, I think that instead of focusing on changing an event in my country because it seems too commonplace to talk about it, I prefer to focus on changing events that I consider more important and that affect the entire planet, all of humanity, on a macro level. We would be changing the destiny not just of a nation, but of all humanity by eliminating the Crusades, avoiding the First World War, and preventing the assassination of Julius Caesar. I wish there were a time machine. If there were, I would use it, but not to change any historical events. I truly wouldn't use it for that. I would use it to learn about those past cultures, see how people spoke, what they ate, enjoy the foods that people ate in those years. And why not, for example, I would be very interested in traveling to the time of the dinosaurs, the cavemen, and see how they fed, how they ate, how they spoke, of course, without suffering any harm or being eaten by a dinosaur because safety comes first. But yes, I would use time travel exclusively for that. This is my opinion on today's topic. I hope you enjoyed it and learned something new, dear friends. Did you know that delegating your HP to @midnight-studio not only supports amazing projects, but also rewards you with NEON Tokens every week?
I used to think like that at times. What if this didn't happen. What if that happened instead of what actually happened. Many things could have better results if we could do them again.
Yes, it's something we'll never know, how I wish I could use that time machine!
Without a doubt, I am sure that we would try to change many things from the past, a lot of evil and deaths. It's a good visualization. A hug.

A lot indeed happened during the world war and preventing it I sure know would have made the world even better.

We all have different things we may want to change when we are allowed to travel through time.
The world war would truly have caused so many bad times.
Violence cannot help.
Caesae's murder is part of the hardship your country is facing today.
Julius would have fine-tuned things during his world, making your region a better place to be.
