I registered for Splinterlands due to the hype but abandoned it immediately I realized I have to buy a particular stuff to really start playing. The free practice I tried my hands on ended in losses. So I just didn't see the reason to buy anything to play. How I wish I met someone to pressure me enough to commit to playing the game then. Even when it became free to play I overlooked it.

oh splinter lands also require investment to earn ... and the more you lose the more knowledge you gain but you can always try the strategy they use in defeating you
It was that investment that made me run away from it. To think it was the time when play-to-earn stuff was on the rise and I just overlooked it was crazy.
