Na all kind of craze dey Lagos. The noise from generating sets is one, how about the noise from a bunch of young adults playing loud music at night after getting high? Despite that, Lagos is trying to curb noise pollution compared to other states.
Recently, I tried reporting a hotel close to my home that brings a live band to disturb the whole neighborhood every Friday night. I checked the website of the Ministry of Environment in my state, there was no provision for reports of such. I mailed them six months ago about the issue. I'm yet to get a reply of any sort.
Bro, just tell me you live in Lagos, because you said it all. Only someone who has lived in that city would have this much information.
Thank God they stopped churches and mosques from using louch speakers.
The truth is that, no one is ready to do anything especially if it is not affecting them. There are times I am so tired of lagos state.
I stayed at Ikorodu area for about eight months. That place is swarming with all kind of crazy noisemakers. They did well with the noise from churches and mosques though. Those ones make Fridays and Sundays terrible days.
