Music is an art. Art must be in the best form ever. Nowadays music is nothing but a fast instrument 🎸🎷 sounds and no lyrics. Even some songs have no meaning. They are just meaningless. I am from Pakistan and I can feel this because II'm 90's the songs were full of meaning. And their lyrics are truly heart-touching. But this generation is making nonsense songs. Literally, the taste of this generation in songs is too bad.
I think the writters nust focus on their lyrics. Because these lines have great importance. I have listened to many songs with a bad meaning. But people are listening to them because of the fast music and to show their swag. They are crazy about it.
The songs are for the audience. If they are promoting bad experiences writing then there is no fault of a writer. Because this writting is more popular. But if the audience took stand for good lyrics, I am sure the singers will put there more effort in lyrics.
How can it be better?
There would be a meaningful story telling. Incorporate narrative that convey important message, emotions and feelings. I think songs are listened to only to manage our emotions. We listen to songs when we are sad or happy. Therefore it means that the lyrics are about how much impactive.
The singers must have grip to there lines and wordings. And the writers must have a grip on their hands. They should write about their emotions. They don't write such lines which have a bad meaning.
Nowadays there are no rules about writtings. Someone is writing a shit and the singers are gracefully singing them. I recently listen a song It is up and it is Stuck. I was not sure which thing was described here. But when I heard her interview, I was shocked. What the shit she had to sing. Sorry to say but your voice and misic is untill useless, until you have good lyrics.
I was talking about old songs. The era of our parents. In childhood when I heard those songs, I always thought in my mind, what is this? But whenever I hear now that songs, I can feel their meanings and feelings easily. I can feel the emotions. Why? Because of those lyrics.
So the singers must choose good lyrics. And the writer must do some more effort in their writings. Because a writer is giving something to his generation and audience. They must put some messages and some extraordinary playlist.
So this was my opinion about the music and the lyrics. I am sure everyone has given their best. So my post is just about my feelings.

I agree with you that this line of the song is very important. Many times, this line gives a wrong message to the understanding and then something wrong can happen in the society.
