Conforming to a standard of right behavior requires a lot of training both home and personal training. We all know the kind of perverse world that we live in, where everything is going in the wrong direction.
Hardly will you see in a day or pass by a place and not come across an individual who neglected the right thing and indulges in what he or she is not supposed to do. We all have certain principles that guide our lives and this serves as the foundation to our decision making, actions and likewise our reactions.
Everyone's behavioral attitude has to do with the kind of brought up we had and still having and we tend to live by it till adult stage, though some people changes due to some external influences but a lot of people behave according to the morals instill in them right from their respective homes.
Right from childhood, I learned that in whatever I'm doing keeping one's word matters the most. My parents have been the set of people I admire the most in this world and they have tried their best to instill good morals in me and my siblings through their ways of life.
Times without numbers, my parents have always ring in my ears that come what may, I should always keep my words, let Yes be Yes and No be No, never bear false witness (whether the person is my family member or friend) or alter defamatory remarks against anyone. Whatever alterations I can't say in someone's presence must not be altered at their back so that I won't put myself in tight corner.
As I grow older, I see integrity as a necessity which I keep growing in it, it's a great virtue everyone must endeavor to have because it matters the most. One of the reasons I choose Integrity as my moral code is because it the foundation for healthy relationship. In as much as I want to cohabit with others happily integrity is necessary.
In integrity lays lots of virtues like truthfulness, honesty, decency, probity, righteousness etc and anyone who has it as his or her moral code will surely live harmoniously with others in the society.
With integrity as my moral code; colleagues, friends and family will be able to vouch for me anytime any day at my presence or when I'm absent. Without integrity there can never be mutual understanding, love and trust with people living around you.
I've seen cases where people distance themselves from some people because their trustworthiness can't be ascertained. Everyone around someone of no integrity sees them as a deceitful and worthless fellow, absolutely no one wants to associate with either a man or woman of no Integrity.
Therefore, no matter how bad things get, I will never break my words on whatever I've said, I say a word to the best of my knowledge, you can correct me if I say the wrong thing but I don't compromise my words. To be truthful has been my thing and lots of people have known me for it.

But of my morals have nothing to do with my home bringing. It has to do with what I feel comfortable with. My mum gives so much either she has surplus or not but as for me, I only give when I have to spare because of how I also see the world.

Integrity is also something I learned while growing up, which is why I tend to choose my words carefully because I don't like it when I assure someone that I will do something and I end up not doing it. Most times I rather just stay quiet than promise and fail to deliver

What's left of a human who has no integrity? It's a terrible thing to lose our integrity and your parents did great by instilling that in you.

integrity is one code i can't break no matter what the situation maybe i learnt this code when growing up
