Having had a taste of both I will rather let it die within me than let loss some few words that can get twisted, manipulated or used against me. I cherish freedom of speech and the privileged to pour out our minds, keeping shut at some moments in life can be really deadly. Sometimes we could get burdened and talking to the right person can cheer us up even if a solution is not far,in this instance freedom of speech is valuable. Parents, teachers and superiors have been advised to create a close relationship between themselves and their children. Breeding timid children who aren't bold enough to talk about to talk to their parents about some important happenings in the lives of their children has led to numerous sexual abuse among children and teenager.
Hence the freedom of speech and right to privacy depends on the age category for me. If I were to be a child I would want the right to speak with my superiors freely without restriction while as I get more matured I will learn to be more reserved.
At this age now, I will prefer the right to my privacy having learnt more than enough from life that a simple conversation can be used as an instruments to ruin our lives.
Social media and the internet has opened up so many people that some can barely hold themselves back from talking about their private lives online and on the same note we have others who can barely hold back their opinions regarding other people's post, lives and anything posted on the internet.
So many chaos have emanated from there and we have formed enemity with each other just because of simple comments.
Overtime we have learnt from other peoples lives the damaging effects freedom of speech can cause to anyone. And even though there is so much fun on the internet folks have begun to withdraw back and delete their social media apps knowing well that they need to stay off the internet in order to heal and keep their mental health in check.
In addition to this I have lost some opportunities in the past having spoken to some close friends about my expectations and like you may never be able tell who truly loves you or not. When my expectations didn't come to pass and I got disappointed not knowing what happen only to find out in a latter date that some few words not held back led to my predicaments
Away from personal experiences we have the right and freedom to speak about speak in a much larger society
And indeed part of our human rights but the freedom of speech isn't totally free numerous countries and the government and powerful people are keeping tracks of the things we do and say.
To wrap this up I have learnt this one lesson from my uncle that has remained as a good guide.
We should be mindful of who we share our losses and wins with, the loot of achievements and successes. If you get an additional bonus at work, it is far better to pop the wine in your bedroom.
My Uncle has been strict with this lifestyle that often times it catches people unaware when he makes certain notable achievements or climbs a ladder that people have never thought or imagined it possible for him.
Coming to blockchain we have some who have remained anonymous till date. Those whom we cannot picture their faces with their blogs. They chose to enjoy a social life on a private terms, that is admirable because what you don't know you cannot destroy, they can talk freely because nobody knows them. That is both freedom of speech and privacy together if these things do not get compromised by tech.
Is our privacy totally guaranteed on the internet, I doubt this.

Having your own privacy is good and at the same time it's bad because you won't be able to get help when you need it the most due to the fact that you are not open.

The truth is Both Right are so important, that it is hard to choose which one to leave
