Only 1 more day, then that happy day. Merry Christmas. This day is also very happy for me and a treasure trove of memories. The picture you are seeing here is of a district church in our country. Which is called Oxford Mission Epiphany Church. If you look at the next picture, you can see that there is a school right next to it called Oxford Mission Primary School. My first school life started in this school. Not only that, my elder brother also started his school life in this school. And we finished our primary school life in this school.
I am not a Christian. But I studied in this school, not only me, but boys and girls of all religions study here. And still study. But I will say that in the year 2000 when we started our school life. I don't remember everything. But I remember very well the special moments.
The images was taken from Google Maps
Despite being of different religions, my friends and I used to enter the church during our tiffin time. There is a huge road in front of it where we used to play. And here is a huge bell. Which I used to try to ring. But its ball was tied tightly with a rope so it didn't ring very loudly. And they would do it for us. Otherwise I would ring it unnecessarily.
Anyway, we had a total of 3 days off for this Christmas. But we were studying with a private teacher there so we always had to go there. On this Christmas day, we were invited to church and school. My Christian friends would come wearing new dresses. So we would also wear new dresses. There were many gifts to give to us. After the prayer, a cake would be cut. We would eat it. After that, there would be a ceremony. There would be food in the afternoon. And the next day there would be an invitation to friends' houses. That was quite fun.
But it has been almost 20 years, I don't go there. Because I don't live there anymore. And every year when this day comes, my mother reminds me of those parties. Because at that time he used to take us everywhere. He can remember the quota of that time better than us. And at that time, there was no mobile phone like now, so I had no contact with my friends at that time. So I searched for this picture on Google Maps. I also showed the picture of the church to my mother. I still miss those days very much. I don't know if such events are still held or not.
