We use so many things every day—plastic bottles, glass jars, paper, food packets, even old clothes. But think about it, what do we do with them after using them? In most cases, they end up in the dustbin, from where they end up in landfills or in the open environment. Yet, much of it is recyclable.
I personally try to be a little aware of recycling, although our country still does not have a very strong or universally accepted recycling system. There may be some institutional initiatives in big cities, but they are practically absent in villages or mofussils. However, in my opinion, it is not enough to just look to the government or institutions, we also have to take the initiative ourselves.
I keep plastic bottles or glass items separate at home. I separate papers or old magazines so that I can later give them to the nearest recycling shop or paper seller. I donate old clothes or bags or give them to someone who needs them. I know it's not a big deal, but small efforts can make a big difference.
The biggest problem is lack of awareness. Many people don't know what to recycle, how to do it, or where to give it. Many people think, "What will happen to my own stuff?" But in my opinion, if every family can properly separate their recyclables, a huge change can be made.
Objects like plastic or e-waste are not only damaging nature but also our bodies by staying in the environment. They are affecting the soil, water, and even the air, which indirectly enters our food chain. Today's children are being born in an environment where cleanliness and healthy living are just words.
So I believe that recycling is no longer just a good habit, it has become a social responsibility of our time. Let's all try together. Maybe it's not possible to change completely right now, but let's start our journey of awareness with one bottle, one piece of paper, one bag at a time.
If you want, I can also suggest some suitable blog titles in English for this. If you ask, I'll give them to you immediately.
Every small effort counts and being more aware of recycling is a great first step towards creating change 🌎💚 #Environment #GoGreen
I completely agree with your words. We often think that small efforts may not bring any big change, but in fact, big changes begin from these small awareness. Being aware of recycling is really the first step, and if we all try a little from our place, then together it is possible to bring about a lot of positive change. Thank you for your valuable comment.
