The last time I went to the hospital was when I was about twelve years old. Malaria had dealt a heavy blow on me and my white blood cells were not strong enough to defend me. So, I bowed to the pressure and got sick.
First, to remedy the pathetic situation, my parents had to carry out local medication on me. On the first day, it was effective but on the secondary evening, I started to run a high temperature such that when cold water was poured on me to normalise my temperature, one could see steam of hotness coming out from my skin.
I remembered as I was covered in a blanket and a pot of boiling herbal concoction was placed under the blanket. It was so hot that I sweated profusely. That method was believed to be the last straw to drive away any sort of sickness locally in those days.
The next day, when the fever seemed insurmountable, my mom took me to the hospital where I was placed on injection for three days. That was the last time I visited the hospital.
Looking back today, there are several kinds of illness all over the place. Sometimes, it amazes me what humanity has turned into. Little wonder you will hear the rhetorics of what to eat and what not to, and what to drink and what not to. Seriously, I think we should take care of our health.
The simple way I have adopted to.keep body and soul active is by helping myself to live healthily. I drink a lot of water and avoid alcohol and smoking.
Smoking and alcohol intakes are one of the many reasons why people take I today. On the other hand, people eat a lot of processed food.
To those people, it might look like pleasure but in actual fact, they are causing themselves a lot of harm. I think that we live in such a time where our atmospheric condition, the location we find ourselves and the kind of food and water and clothing we use affects our health one way or the other.
How I Keep Healthy And Away From The Hospital
Dear friends and readers, I am an advocate for medical consultation and regular check-up even if I do not go to the hospital, maybe because I don't fall sick. For me, my common kind of sickness is known and how to get away from it is not by taking drugs but relaxing. Most often than not, I develop a headache when I am stressed out but as soon as I take enough water and go for a nap, it will be gone before I wake up. However, I have some routine that has helped me stay away from hospital.
I Eat Natural Food
Take it or leave it, there is lots of scientific food out there. For instance, I don't eat chicken that is bred from poultry farms. Most of them don't get mature before they are put in for sale in the market or eateries.
Locally bred poultry products are the best. For instance, a local breed of cockerel may not have plenty of meat like a broiler but it has gone through the natural prices of metamorphosis. From being a chick into adulthood. Same thing applies to eggs. So, here is the thing. I eat local breed chicken which I have in my local poultry.
Same thing applies to vegetables. Fertilised farms are there to produce vegetables that can only affect the human alimentary canal and cause more injuries to our health system.
Taking locally made drinks like Palm wine, zobo drinks (with lemon and pineapple fruits not the flavours made in laboratories). With that, you can be sure you are eating nature's best.
Man's best drink should be water. That's the best drink that nature has given to mankind. However, we should not take just any kind of water. The source of the water is as important as life itself.
I Don't Self Medicate
First, I can't remember the last time I took the simplest drug, paracetamol, which we all believe is meant to relieve pain. My findings has it that even paracetamol when excessively taken could endanger the human liver.
If there is a need to take a drug, no matter how small the drug may appear, it must be by the advice of a medical personnel.
Most people today have found themselves patients of certain illnesses because of self medication. I will advise that for any reason, so not self medicate as the consequences of self medication could be grievous.
Clothing Too
Have you heard that our clothing styles also affect our health? Yes, it does. Way we determine our clothing sense should not be trending clothes but our climatic conditions.
For example, it is good to wear a suit but in an office where the air-conditioning system is nothing to write about, we could just do our shirts and trousers or skirts and also those must not be silky but wooly.
Overall, I think that constant medical checkup is very important to avoid an undetected ailment get to it worst stage before we begin to get help or remedy for cure. Health is wealth and we must guide it with jealousy.
Sincerely, medicals check kill faster, I choose to eat healthy and stay away from hospital to avoid heart break and raise bp
😂😂😂
I thought I was alone on this mission.
Seriously, especially in my part of the world, if you love yourself, just stay clear from medical facilities.
They use humans as guinea pigs to test run a medical discovery .
I stay very far away from hospital, I'm not ready for their trouble, only child birth takes me there but right now I'm not pregnant so nothing takes me there.
Ahhaha.
Hospital for people like us is a war zone.
Haha

Bzzzrrr! Sinceramente, parabéns pra você estar se cuidando! É o básico, né? Eu também não sou fã de médicos e hospitais. Prefiro cuidar do corpo e mente em casa. Água, frutas e exercícios são meus principais remédios. #hivebr
