GOOD DAY AND WELCOME π TO MY BLOG
This year has been a good year in various aspects and I owe that to myself and those around me.
Generally I can say I have had a pretty good year so far. Thou i have no land mark of achievement but I am not what, who, and where I am 11 months ago.
One of the stepping stone of growth I took was joining this platform. I was convinced that my effort and talent could be utilized better by my friend @moremoney28 . I tend to be someone who needs extra push out of my comfort zone to do anything and I have felt it this last few weeks.
My journey has been eventful and I have not really had a bad time on Hive, everyday I read more, think more and even do more to meet up with the high standards already set by those here already. Just one month ago I did not even know a blog post site like this existed, now it seems I have been in darkness and brought into online light. I get to see ideas of real life people and events, I have even distracted and become more of a reader here instead of a writer, I sometimes forget why am here and I just keep scrolling and reading until my time has gone.
I can say I am lucky here because I have had it quite easy here since I joined a month ago I will not lie π€₯. The tutoring I had, up votes, positive comments etc. Has given me a higher sense of confidence in myself but I don't want to be carried away because it not always about the beginning but the process.
I have thought of goals I want to set here,I tried setting targets to the end of this month, end of this year, 6 month from now and so on but I just came to the conclusion that all that does not fully matter if I lose concentration on my present and become fixated on the future, so I told my self let me take it on step at a time, on day after the other, I always expect mistake most times because this is the time I can be corrected, and learn from others. I go through my timeline and communities and I see that some hivers have been here since even 2018,and I ask myself why rush or panic when I still have a very long way to go.
My thoughts will be shown more frequently as times goes on and as I have told my self that I am here to stay for the long run but the journey so far has been gentle and nice but I won't also run away from a challenge if it comes to.

Really beautiful write up, I was wondering why the boss had tagged me here and after reading this I'm very happy he did. You are welcome to hive @myles22, I'm really happy you are doing well to go through other's blogs and learning from them. Since you are new here, I will advise you keep up with that because it's going to pay really well in a long run and yes you should also do well to share your own write ups as well.

I will say welcome to the platform, I love your first step and manner of approach, you have indeed started well, I love how you have decided to read other people's write up, that is good way to start but you have to step up your game..
You said something up there about how you saw some people joining 2018, 2017 and you realized you don't want to make hive goals and you decide to take it slow and steady, that is not bad but do you know what others take 4-5 years to achieve you can achieve in 2-3 years??
Goals give you a sense of direction, it puts you on your feet to never give up, setting a goal is just for you to have a focused destination and at the end you weigh what you have achieved to what you have left, that is when you will understand that I need to keep on buckling up...
Don't look at the years others have joined, take me for example, Those people who joined 2017, 2018 are my motivation when I see their Achievements, I say to myself that I don't want to take this long before achieving mine because I will do the wright thing and I believe my efforts will be crowned..
Quality engagements an quality posts including consistency is the key to survival on the platform, join contests and Challenges and you will slowly be dug out by others and then slowly you build you hivereer..
I believe @hopestylist is also with me, the head is different and you can take LONGER to achieve those goals it is okay but you are focused and determined, that is what setting a hive goals is for...
Don't live for now alone, live now and think of how you build your tomorrow..
