So there I just found out that someone did use my original nickname which is "nheng1118" to plagiarize my Article about Axie Infinity a year ago (last October 2021).Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here. It's my first time signing up here in hive. Been seeing most of my friends was already here, so I decided to sign up too. But before something happened, while I was checking all my notifications on my read.cash account I noticed that my friend @bmjc98 tagged me on her article
Though it's already happened a year ago I still wanted to clear my name that it wasn't me. That this is only my first time registering an account here. I just hated the idea that someone plagiarized content to make some money out of it.
Anyway thanks to Hive admin finding out about this scammer, hopefully, he/she's already out of this platform.
And for now, I guess I have to explore first here in Hive and will continue to learn everything. I guess I will add this platform to my activity list. Write Articles, Be Active, and so on. Hopefully, I am welcome here too. 🙂

Unfortunately, like most monetized sites, we've had many instances of this happening, but fortunately the community has gotten better at spotting & stopping them.
One of the ways we try to do this is by having content creators with established social media accounts verify by adding the word, "Hive" to one of their bios, or otherwise show that they're aware of the Hive account. For instance, you could either add "Hive" to your Twitter bio (you can delete it after it's been confirmed), or your profile link, or even just tweet out this post. Once you've done it, if you could comment & tag me so I can check, I can then complete the verification process for you.
It would also be awesome if you could do more of an introduction post, so our community can get to know you better. For information on how to write an intro post, please check out the SELF INTRODUCTION section of the post 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive.

I was very active at noise.cash for some time before, but never on read.cash because I was already active here on Hive and I couldnt afford to create original for that site anymore.
I guess it's worth the while to check these social media sites (especially the earning ones) if someone has tried to make a fake account on our names.
