🥰🥰 Hello Hivers. 🥰🥰

Discussion.
This post was made to participate in a contest organized by TIM Hive Learners, with the theme "Pollution", Weekly Featured Contents Week 08:- Edition 01:-.
What are the major causes of pollution in your area?
Are they vehicles, industries, or just humans?
Suggest ways in which this can be rectified.

We can have a quality life from various things, one of which is living in a comfortable and safe environment, of course free from pollution. But what can I do, at this time in my beloved country, the environment has begun to be randomly shuffled by irresponsible hands, many investors come from outside to take natural products, under the pretext of improving the welfare of the people, but their arrival has actually caused new problems, namely air pollution, and water pollution.

Today I will write a fact that is blindfolded, many people speak but do not dare to take up the problem, it could be because there has been an exchange, or indeed they no longer care about the environment.

The main cause of pollution in my area.
Water Pollution and Forest Destruction.
This story is about my area, not far from where I am, to get there in about an hour. What do they do to pollute the water?
They use a tracktor to take the gold that is in the ground, while the place where they take the gold is close to the river, so the results from scrapings, dust, and others flow into the river, so as a result people who live close to the river cannot drink the water or use it because it is cloudy and also mixed with chemical substances.

In addition, they also clear the forest, so that nature does not look beautiful in the area, all because of the greed of human nature, not caring about the environment, forests are victims of irresponsible human violence.

Who is the real culprit?

They are humans who want to take nature's produce for themselves, rich for their own stomach, they live like zombies, it doesn't matter if it's a brother, sister, or brother as long as their humans will eat it.

How to fix this problem.

  • The government must take firm action against the perpetrators of water pollution and those who damage the environment.

The government's role is very heavy in this regard, but unfortunately, the government seems to be silent in dealing with the damage. If the government issues some kind of law that it is not allowed to do so, if there is it will be severely punished, but not such a regulation.

  • Education for the local community.

Lack of public understanding of the importance of a comfortable environment, so they sell their land for gold in that place. There should be certain institutions that provide special education to the community so as not to use the environment for personal gain.

  • Related party cooperation.

The most important thing is cooperation in protecting the environment, the government acts as if it has the power to regulate, and the community knows that the environment is important, as well as other social institutions, or agencies engaged in the environmental sector. It means mutual coordination for the benefit of the people.

This is my view on pollution and how to deal with it. All forms of criticism and suggestions will be gladly accepted.

Your are correct that people need to be attentive to pollution and take steps to reduce it; Hovever, I find your faith in government misplaced. Government is led by people seeking power. People who seek power are generally wasteful.

I used to be a leftist until one day it dawned on me that people in the free market were doing a better as stewards that the government.

Once I started seeing the tremendous amount of destruction and waste forced upon up by government dictates, I realized that I needed to abandonned the claim that the government is somehow the cure for waste.

I find your faith in government misplaced. Government is led by people seeking power. People who seek power are generally wasteful.

I am optimistic that one day there will be a government that cares about its people, and I believe one day that spirit of leadership will return.

I also agree with you. Currently it is very difficult to find the truth from the government. All political games, power, we as a society are victims.

I am optimistic that one day there will be a government that cares about its people

People care about people. Governments care about power and control. This is why free societies tend to have less pollution than totalitarian societies.

Because people tend to care about their communities. They seek ways to make their communities.

We are in a paradoxical situation. Politicians realized that they can gain power by campaigning for a green future. Free people who want to make the environment better vote for the message.

The problem is that people are not getting what they are voting for ... because the corrupt political class is the source of most of the pollution in the world.

There is no rebuttal to your argument. I strongly agree.
I found that in my place, no one cares about the pollution that occurs, because the government is the support behind it all.

The best way to fight pollution is to raise local awareness of the problem and to get people to talk about solutions.

It is amazing what people can accomplish by organizing clean up drives, recycling drives and other direct efforts to improve the local ecosystem.

I know that in your area there is a golden mountain, I want to ask one thing, do people there if they want to get married no longer have to buy a dowry because nature has provided it?😅🙏

Those are two different things. Looking for gold and giving gold.

Getting married gives gold. Even though nature has provided we have to look for it.

@fery @nilahayati my last post had a section about dowry you can check it out. I explained the pressure on groom and bride both and share both side of story. How it cause mental pressure and more.

@ dlmmqb Your last post about I BOUGHT CIVIC!

 3 years ago (edited)

@nilahayati

Yes in that I discuss the topic of dowry

The government must look into the problems and provide solutions adequately

I agree with you. The government should not only enjoy the results. But also provide solutions.

very good post. indeed the problem of pollution is a very serious problem in a country.

People take advantage and leave a trail of ugliness.

And I'll say your views are well said, if only the government would read this and implement it for a better environment.

Well done dear 🙌

There is currently a student movement moving to stop illegal gold mining. However, this movement is very limited. because it has no legal force. Unfortunately this is allowed by the government. I am afraid that in the next few years nature will be angry and result in disasters later.

And that is what we dread most 😬

The reason why these evil-doers keep succeeding is that the government has a hand in it.

And I agree with the fact that the people must work together in protecting their environment by not selling their lands.

That's right mate. that's what happened at my place. there are transactions behind the scenes.

Yeah... when the local communities are sensitized properly about the dangers of pollution not just to their health but also to the climate, they will create the necessary awareness and people will be willing to do their own little to fight pollution in all spheres of life.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Lack of public understanding and proper education. I fear that in the next few years the place will be in serious disrepair. Can cause major flooding.

many investors come from outside to take natural products, under the pretext of improving the welfare of the people,

Exactly, you got this! Even aoart from causing pollution, all the while their activities has never been a win-win, they always have the most benefit. For the other party, pollution is their reward! Indeed, it is we humans that wreak the havoc of pollution.
You've got quite a good piece here @nilahayati

This really shouldn't happen. But unfortunately, that has blinded their hearts. Even though nature really needs them for their survival.

Exactly, it was supposed to be a symbiotic relationship but now it is more or less parasitic. So pathetic.

it's very sad, Bad behavior built in the name of social.

Very complete explain, and yes, the gouverment must to take care of it.
Especially when we talk about large-scale environmental restoration, of course this will drag the name of the government to take part in it.
Good post 👍

That's right mate. The government's role is to maintain a comfortable and safe environment. Free from pollution. We hope the government opens its eyes.

It is one such good post @nilahayati . First of all I wanna know which area do you belong to?

The government is responsible for bringing goodness in many areas but the problem is that the culprits are within the government sector. They take bribe and allow them to pollute the beauty. Laws are not enough to undermine these bad effects. The implementation of the laws matter and it is not possible without the honest government servents.

I am in Indonesia. Aceh Province.

The government does not care if there is no income for itself. But I am optimistic that in the future there will be a government that is responsible for protecting the environment.

The government does not care if there is no income for itself

In my country there are government servents or police who know how to take benefit of every illegal activity

It seems that almost every corner of the country has such a person.

Sad but true

I must say it's a properly written post. :)

that's right mate. There is one area managed by a responsible government. And the area is very developed now.
