RE: My first fast | میرا پہلا روزہ

Wow🤭🤭🤭, firstly, I enjoyed your childhood fond memories about fasting and now, I feel the urge to encourage my kids to do so as well, even if it's from morning till 12 noon

You know, when I was a child, my parents made my siblings and I to join Saturday family fast, where we gather together as a family to fast and pray. I remember extending mine till 6pm at a point then and I felt the spiritual impact. However, as a mum, I still feel that telling my kids to fast may suffer their flesh and that, they may not withstand it ...but then, you have challenged me with your story today!

Reading further, I loved how everyone's attention in your family was all on you. This shows how much they care about you and the family bond that exists between you people. You sure proved to them that you have grown.

Most kids wouldn't want to fast voluntarily , until maybe they are forced to do so, unlike you that found fasting so fascinating.

What a memory to behold!
Thanks for sharing!

From morning till noon, children's fasts are referred to as "sparrow fast" in Pakistan. This term is used metaphorically because children are small and sparrows are also small. In reality, it is just a colloquial expression, and there is no spiritual significance attached to it.

In reality, parents often worry that their children won't be able to fast because in their eyes, children remain young even when they grow up. However, if you trust your children, they will surprise you.

I have previously discussed in my blogs that my family loves me very much and takes good care of me. I am the one who jokingly labels their love as "helicopter parents." They are not that bad though 😂

Thanks for stopping by.
