Are libraries still needed? That is an interesting question, especially when associated with the current digital era. Actually, I have a dream to develop a library in the village. Currently, I have a lot of books and if a library is made, it is not enough but it can be made as a personal library.

I remember very well, if literacy in Indonesia is still very low. Videos less than one minute, it turns out that it does not have an impact on someone increasing literacy. The reading culture is still very low in Indonesia. That is what increases my determination to create a library. Is it still very relevant in today's era?

Of course, it is still very relevant. Indonesia has many villages and many places that have difficulty with internet and technology access. So, books are the first valid source of knowledge, especially to open our knowledge and eyes related to the world. Books are also not written carelessly, there are many references used by the author.

I want to build a village with children who love to read and write. Compared to using gadgets. The challenge in the digital era is low literacy and reading. So in this digital era, libraries are still very necessary.

Indonesia has a large National library. Where the library is also transformed with the digital world. Many books can be accessed online. For me, this is still very relevant. I also want to tell you about two large libraries in Jakarta. Where every day the two libraries are very full.

Many people need space to work, read books, study and others in the library. I thought the two libraries in Jakarta would be quiet, but in fact they weren't. I have some photos of them. In some countries, libraries have beautiful architecture and that makes people want to visit.

I remember there was a luxurious library in Korea that was in a mall. And it turned out that it was not a tourist spot. However, with the fullness of libraries in Indonesia, it turns out that many people still need printed books to read, even though there are many books sold digitally on Google.

That's all I can tell you from my experience. What do you think? Do you still need a library in this digital era? For me, it is still very much needed. There are many people who still need physical books compared to digital books. See you at the next place.

Can't remember the last time I've been to a library. The fact that most books are now digitized means one can access them without leaving his or her bed.

One of the large libraries has digitized the books it publishes.

You are right, truly many people need space to work, read books, study and others in the library. I thought the two libraries in Jakarta would be quiet, this is profound.

Not all libraries in Jakarta are always busy, especially on weekends.

Thank you

It's has been a quiet long time I visited a library, it was very interesting then, but some people find it difficult to make research in a library, they prefer going through internet. But to me the library system is very much accepted.

Some people consider the library as heaven, because there are many books there.

Really? 😗
