Hello everyone, how are you? Have you ever heard of Indonesia? Indonesia is one of the countries that was once colonized by the Netherlands and Japan. In total, Indonesia was colonized by the Netherlands for 350 years. However, Indonesia was not colonized by Japan for too long, 3.5 years. However, with Indonesia being colonized by the Netherlands, Indonesia has many buildings with European architecture. The most magnificent building is the Cathedral church.

with Indonesia being colonized by the Netherlands, many Dutch education systems were adopted in Indonesia. One of them is the length of school age at Elementary, Middle and High School levels. However, Indonesia has another very phenomenal history. What is it? The government system and democracy.

Indonesia has experienced clashes that have claimed quite a lot of victims. In 1960 and 1998. From there, Indonesia changed to a democratic system where the people have power. The riots that damaged many things in Indonesia. In fact, a number of people are still said to be missing to this day. From there, the people can choose the president, legislature and information is very open. This is history and the struggle of many people so that Indonesia has an open system.

After the incident and tragedy, the press became a tool for the government to be very open with the people. The people also became an element to monitor a number of systems run by the government. At its peak, civil society was able to participate in pushing new regulations. With a democratic system and strong civil society, Indonesia succeeded in passing the Law on Sexual Violence. This law is proof of the solidity of civil society in Indonesia.Civil society involvement is key to preventing past riots from happening again

Indeed, sometimes the people themselves are not satisfied with the work of the government, but Civil Society can provide input and advocate for a number of regulations. I feel very lucky to be in Indonesia. On the other hand, Indonesia has a fundamental nature that is stated in the foundation of the state. Namely, the nature of mutual cooperation. The friendliness of the Indonesian people is recognized by a number of people who come to Indonesia.

I once accompanied a guest from abroad, the guest who was present was very amazed by the friendliness of the Indonesian people. Another thing, female clerics are recognized by the government. In Indonesia, female clerics have space to think and are accommodated. Another thing, on a number of issues, female clerics are asked for their opinions to fight for and strengthen the regulations that will be passed. One of them is about the limitation of the age of marriage and female circumcision. This also makes me proud to be Indonesian. That's all I can tell you. See you in another story.
