To me, the most important thing on earth is my health. Health, they say is wealth but some people don't actually take care of themselves medically and psychologically. Its hard for them to go for medical check up, and when you ask them, they will tell you that they are not having or feeling any problems in their body, but the have one or two things that is disturbing them which will gradually lead them to depression or developing high blood pressure.

According to World Health Organization, health is a state of complete wellbeing, both physically, mentally and socially. Health is not half wellness, it is not when you have slight head ache or muscle pain, or when you have a situation that could temper with your mental health, but a state of complete wellness of the mind and the body and also, you relationship with people. Yes, your relationship with people. The problem here is that this is literally impossible to achieve, thus, the need for regular health check ups.
There are many times when you probably have an underlying health problems and the signs and symptoms are there, but you are too busy with work and other stuffs to even notice the signs. Sometimes, we realize that we have such medical condition when its become slightly worst.
The importance of regular general health check ups is very obvious and it helps to early recognize and effectively treat disease conditions that may terrorize your body in the nearest future.
One thing I will never play with is my health. Every slight headache needs investigation and treatment. Most times, natural remedy, but sometimes, there is need for medication.
I take my health very seriously. Some times, I do see nurses, due to hospital economy, refuse to wear complete Personal Protective Equipment, and I'm like; this can't be me. Like i said earlier, my health and wellbeing are the most important thing i need to take care of first, before any other patient.
for the past few months, my schedule has been really tight which made it very difficult to go see my doctor for a medical check up. Though we talked on phone, I wanted to meet in person for both physical examinations and test if necessary because I was had a cough that refused to leave. Maybe a sputum analysis wouldn't be bad.
I made out time last week, I told my colleague to cover my shift while I visit the hospital for a general health check, not excluding the cough I had. The check up went well, and I came back home expecting the test results.
I was told to reduce the stress and get better rest and sleep but then, I actually can't do that because i will be missing some works. I will have to reduce the work load by sharing with my collegue in the hospital, maybe i will get to rest well while on duty and sleep well while at home.
I didn't book a next appointment, cause that was the first one for this year. Maybe I will go back by October or November or anytime I have a complaints that I can't manage on my own.

Yeah, I have seen some nurses who care less about wearing protective materials while attending to patients and I call there attention to it, some of them prove to know more and I just stay off.
Being healthy is a blessing that we don't need to joke with. Good you took the step to take care of yourself
In my area there are also some nurses who do not care too much about the patient's condition, if they go to play on their mobile phones at night rather than the patient's condition, I really broadcast things like this happening in the hospital.
Of course, health is the priority, if health is maintained everything goes well, health is a gift.
Regular check up is good but at times money is usually the issues people faces
A good sleep and rest is necessary for a healthy living but then wants keep arising here and there like wirld fire but no matter what once a while we should see the doctor and glad you were able to go see your doctor.
Ahhh
You have read and described me. Cause I feel like I'm okay and I don't need to go for a checkup and to be honest, it kinda affect me and by Gods grace I'll try to take that very seriously
