Happy Sunday friends!! I hope we are all having a nice time with family and friends? Today I will showing us how to make a special Nigerian foods. It’s actually one of my best food I love to eat and I am very good at preparing it.
Today I will showing us how to make Semovita. It’s a common meal in most African home and it can be eaten with any kind of soup. Though, there are different things that can be made with Semovita. You can use it in making semo-buns,pancakes,semo fries and so much more.
But today join me in making Morsel. Morsel can be eaten with any kind of stew. But I ate mine with Jute leaves(known as ewedu in the Yoruba culture).
All we will need to prepare Semo morsel is just a boiling water and semo powder. Firstly, I placed a pot of water on fire till its boiling at 100 degrees. While waiting for it to get ready, I made a paste of the Semovita in a small bowl.
Then I turned it into the boiling water and I kept stirring till it brought out a desired paste look. Then I poured in Semo powder into it, while doing that, I kept on turning the Semovita till it brought out Morsel look with no lumps. Then I added a little warm water into it to make it really smooth. Then stirred till it brought out the desired look.
I placed mine into a plate and served with jute leaf. Look at how amazing it looked.
