My oh my! I am beginning to do really terribly lately on Hive. How am I just getting here, late to the party? π’
I never would have actually thought you joined only a year ago. It's not that a year is quite small, but that you have become such a person of interesting reputation. Of course, it did not all go without hardwork, persistence and showing up as often as one can.
I took a moment to reflect on that day I said "yes" to hive and the memories were running so fresh in my mind right now.
It is the "yes to Hive" for me.π I believe for many people, like a marriage ceremony, the day they joined Hive is one of the best things they have done. Hive is not just a space you can monetize your content on and get rewarded. It is much like a space for like minds to interact and co-create together. Life-long relationships are built here. Heck, I would love it my wife-to-be is here on Hive. Hive is now a big part of my life.

This is probably the biggest issue for newbies. Other than the fact that curation possibilities may be low, owing to low visibility, the fact that you literally get no comment from people other than our beloved @hivebuzz, it can be quite disturbing. But with time, effort and dedication to the ecosystem, growth is inevitable.
I feel so jealous of you all that went through that newbie program...π« I couldn't join and then I keep hearing testimonies of the program everywhere. Now, I am way past being eligible... heck, I am even running a newbie program now, @hive-bootcamp. And that's because I have always had @starstrings wisdom rub off on me...π
I am so glad that I made it to this list. It isn't so long we met, but I have loved every interaction with you ma. It is even crazier to know that every other person on that list is also my friend.π Wow! What a circle indeed.
