A very large number of us joined Hive mainly because we learned about such a space where "truly" monetizing one's content is possible. It is actually okay, really. But it becomes a big problem if this remains the (main) goal if one is looking to actually thrive. This is because to maintain steady results, one needs consistent and regular motivation; rewards won't give you that.
When people get their motivation from the rewards they receive, it's only a matter of time before their quality crumbles like the Wall of Jericho. This is a predicament that is difficult to get out of.
I can totally understand pushing to meet deadlines, or maybe "curation windows," if you will. But if one cannot look back on that work and not cringe, being proud of one's work, knowing that maximum effort was injected, then one should reconsider.
A type of motivation that would help is one that is innate: a type of motivation built in the mind that births thoughts like, "I should be concerned about building." The time will come when one will effortlessly reap the benefits.
Everyone has their own standards. Some are keen on attaining perfection, others not so much. But the top priority should be positive growth, and not declination and degradation.

Bro! I won't lie the rewards is motivating, eye catching and easy to stay connected to it when creating content. I fight myself to look away and stay on track. It's more little putting in discipline on staying true to quality.
