Hello my hive family! Hope all are healthy and happy.
I hope the preparations is going on for Chritsmas and New year. All new thoughts, new hope, new plans and new resolutions.

Today I came up with a new recipe of Aloo Tikki ghoogni Chaat. Chaat is very popular in India. And aloo Tikki Chat is very popular street food in India. We can see in every chaat corner shop this will be in top of the list. These aloo tikkis are served with Chickpeas or Dried white peas Masala.

Come lets see how to make this

INGREDIENTS

White peas- 1 cup soaked
Potato-2 cup
Onion-½cup
Green chili
Tomato-½cup
Garlic-½ tbspn
Oil- 3 to 4 tbspn
Cumin seeds-½tspn
Redchili powder½tspn
Turmeric poder-½ tspn
Coriander powder½tspn
Coriander leaves- for granish
Salt- according to the taste
Garam masala-½tspn
Water- for gravy
Tomato ketchup-2:tspn
Coriander green chutney-2tbspn


METHOD

1.Soaked white peas for about overnight or 6 hours.

2.Now take all them in a pressure cooker and cook it for 2 to 3 whistles and Keep aside..

4.Now boil potatoes.

5.Peel the skin of the potatoes.

5.Take all the spices. Like redchili, salt, garam masala

6.mash the potatoes and add the spices.
Mix it properly .

7.Now take small amount of the mixture and make a round ball shape patties.

8.Make all patties and keep aside.. if the potato is sticky then add some cornflour.

9.Now chop onions.

10.Chop Ginger, garlic and green chilies

11.Heat oil in a pan.

12.add cumin seeds, onions. Saute it.

13.then add green chilies and gralic ginger grated paste.

14.then add tomatoes.

15.Mix it properly.

16.add turmeric powder, red chilli powder salt and saute for 5 mins.

17.now add garam masala and mix it properly.

Let it cook for 2 mins.

18.then add boiled matar.

19.add water as needed.

20.Let it simmer for about 10 mins in low flame. And then off the flame.

21.Now heat skillet

22.then place patties and cook it.

23.smear some oil.

24.cook them nicely till they become brown in colour.

25.Press all the tikkis with spatula. So that they are cooked well and crispy.

26.Now add some Ghoogni on the skillet and heat it.

27.Now take a bowl add tikkis. I took 2 tikkis( patties). You can add as much as you want to eat.

28.Then place a ghoogni gravy.

29.Now add little whisked curd, tomato krtchu(optional).

30.Then add sev(it is a kind of snack used in making chats )

31.Further add chopped onions.

32.Add Tomatoes

33.Add some coriander leaves.

34.Now add some green chutney.

35.Add salt, cumin powder, redchili powder, chat masala and if you want some Pomegranate seeds.

Its ready to serve now.
