Pleasant weather here and why not to eat yummy hot dishes in this lovely weather. Automatically a sweet smile appears when we get a bowl of favorites things to eat.
Today I made a different flavor of Pasta . I don't know what name I should give to the dish hence I called it Spinach garlic Pasta.
I made it in 15 mins and it was delicious. I used Malabar spinach. In. Monsoon it is great to consume because of its benifits. It is natural solution for digestive problems and rich in vitamins.
So here we goes
Lets see how to make the pasta with spinach!
INGREDIENTS
Malabar spinach or any spinach- 1 cup boiled (puree)
Garlic-7 nos
Onions -1cup finely chopped and ½ cup puree.
Tomato-½cup
Greenchilies- 2
Pasta- boiled 2 cups
Salt-to the taste
Oil-2 tbspn
Pasta herbs- ½ tbspn.
Water - for boiling
METHOD
In a pan boil water.
Then add pasta and add little oil and salt
Give 5 to 7 mins boil.
The strain the pasta and keep aside.
Now boil Malabar spinach.
Strain the water.
In a mixer grinder add tomato, onions, boiled spinach , green chilies and garlics clove.
Make a fine paste and keep aside.
Now heat oil or butter in a pan.
Add finely chopped onions. Cook it for 2 mins.
Then add the spinach puree.
And give a nice mix.
Then add salt and red chili powder(optional)
Stir it. Cook for 5 mins.
Then add boiled pasta and add pasta herbs.
Mix it.
Transfer it in a bowl and serve hot.
I hope you will like the flavour. If you want to add some tofu or veggies you can. I skipped it because I want to make the dish within 15 to 20 mins.
