Bengaluru is having a cool weather and this weather makes us all crave for some hot and spicy dishes, specially when it is evening and our minds are searching some things to munch , eat or drink.......
So today I am making babycorn Manchurian for an evening snacks that we can eat at nignt too with some noodles/ fried rice or we can eat this on its own simply as it is.... Babycorn Manchurianwe all love Baby corn or I can say it is loved by all.
Isnot it? It is crispy, crunchy and tossed in spicy tangy sauce and flavourful.
In restaurants it is a very Popular Appetizer. So lets see how to make Babycorn Manchurian at home-:
INGREDIENTS
☑ Babycorn-1 pckt(20 to 24 nos)
☑4 tbsp cornflour
☑1tspn chili powder
☑salt according to taste
☑ginger garlic paste
☑water - for batter
☑oil- for frying
For Manchurian sauce
☑ oil- 4 tbspn
☑garlic finely chopped
☑spring onion-½ cup
☑onion- 1 chopped
☑capsicum-1 chopped
☑tomato ketchup-1 tbsn
☑soy sauce-1 tbsp
☑chili sauce-1 tbsp
☑vinegar-1 tbsp
☑chili powder-½tbsp
☑ black pepper-½tbsp
☑Salt to the taste
☑Sugar -½ tspn
☑corn flour slurry-⅓ cup
METHOD
1.first take baby corn.
2.then chop the baby corns.
3.now in a bowl take corn flour
4.add redchili powder , salt, ginger garlic paste, and little water to make a slurry. Donot add much water. Make smooth thick batter.
5.now add baby corns and coat it with batter.
6.heat oil in a pan.
7.deep fry all the babycorna on a meduim flame.
8.stir occasionally until baby corns turn golden in colour
9.drain off the babycorn and keep aside
10.now in a large kadhai heat oil, add 2 chopped garlic.
11.add spring onions,
12.then and add onions.
13.and stir it for a minute.
14.now add capsicum. Cook it in a high flame for 2 min
15.now add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, pepper, salt , sugar and green chili sauce.
16.stir it
17.then in a bowl make cornflour slurry and add it to the veggies
18.stir it nicely untill the sauce thickens.
19.now add fried crispy babycorn
20.then stir it mix it properly.. then at last add some spring onions and off the flame.
21.transfer the Baby corn manchurian in a bowl.
Its ready to eat hot🔥
You can enjoy the baby corn manchurian with tomato sauce or with fried rice/noodles.
