Hello hive family! Hoping you all having a great year ahead!
Its a long time I didnt have My favourite breakfast Poha i.e Beaten rice, Rice flakes or Flattened rice. I love poha. Its very yummy, light and time consuming.

I think It doesn't have any English name because its not an english food. It is known as Poha, Avalakki, pauwa , chidva or Chuwda.

Poha is made up of rice itself. It comes in thin, meduim and thick varieties. It is a staple breakfast and considered nutruious. Poha is very light breakfast because it is low in gluten and easy to digest.

In south Asia it is very popular. We can have it at any time morning or dinner. So today I am going to share with you all a recipe of Poha.
I am making this for my breakfast with lots of veggies. There are many varieties of making this simple , easy breakfast.
I am sharing one of it with lots of veggies in it. It ill be a perfect winter veggies dish for you and I hope you all gonna love it.


So lets start to make this recipe .

INGREDIENTS

Flattened rice- 1 cup
Peas-1cup
Cauliflower-½cup
Beans-½cup
Curry leaves-5
Oil-1tbspn
Mustard seeds-½tspn
Carrot-½cup
Peanuts-2 tsp
Greenchili-1 or 2c
Cashews(optional)4 -5
Coriander leaves-for garnish
Lemon - ½
Salt- to the taste.
Turmeric powder-½tspn


METHOD


1.chop all the veggies of you choice.
Instead of cauliflower you can add broccoli too.

2 heat oil in a pan.

3.add mustard seeds, curry leaves and cashews.

4.then add peanuts.

5.saute them all for a minute.

6.then add all the veggies.

7.further add turmeric powder and salt. Cook for 10 mins till the veggies are soft.

8.then add chopped tomatoes.Stir it and cook for 5 mins.

9.then add washed poha.(Flattened rice)

10.add coriander leaves.

11.Mix it properly. Squeeze some lemon 🍋 drops and give a nice stir.

Transfer it in a serving plate and have this colorful plate with love and warmness.
