Going for a medical checkup is very important, and I always encourage people around to try their best with it. We can't tell what's happening in our body without a doctor checking, so it's very important.
There are lots of things to go for a medical check for, and it shouldn't be only when we are sick. Sometimes it is just good to know your health status so we can take precautions or treatment when needed. Most people died without getting sick, and there are chances of averting their death if they visited the hospital regularly for checkups.
Recently someone died in my neighborhood, and everyone started saying his wife was responsible for his death just because of how he died. It was said that he was washing his car that fateful morning, and he just complained of a slight headache, and he went inside to relax.
Before he got to his bedroom, he slumped and hit his head, which made him bleed from his nose. The wife shouted, which got our attention because our compound is next to theirs. I couldn’t look at him on the floor bleeding because I saw him that morning when he went to buy the soap, which he used to wash his car.
He was rushed to the hospital, and based on what the wife said when she came back, the doctor told her he was developing a stroke and hitting his head on the floor led to a shock, which took his life. The doctor told them he must have been seeing signs of the stroke, which would have been corrected if he had checked up on his health.
I was surprised that someone could die just like that without getting sick, but then all the signs are there, which the man ignored.
Now back to myself, I don’t joke with my health even though I don’t get sick anyhow or get affected easily, but still, once I notice any strange feelings in my body, I will definitely call my sister, who is a nurse, and after her prescription, I am always ok. But then there was a time I was having issues in my stomach; at first, I thought herbs could fix it. But after using different herbs, I discovered that I should consult my sister for medical advice, so she prescribed drugs for me, which I used for some time.

It was a worm, but it started all of a sudden, which baffles me a lot. After using different drugs, which would suppress it for a while, I summoned the courage to go to the hospital for a proper check before it got out of hand.
It was quite expensive, but my health is worth more than any amount of money because once someone dies, nothing else can be done. So the doctor told me I was having a body change and that it’s a normal thing. That wasn’t convincing because I was the only one that knew how the worm strikes badly, and after explaining to him, he told me to get some drugs and do some X-rays alongside with some tests to be sure everything was okay with me.
The test results said I was good and the X-ray as well, so I quickly rushed down to the pharmacy to get the drugs the doctor prescribed. I went back to him with the test results, and he warned me to stay away from late-night food, which could cause indigestion and that could trigger the worms.
The truth is that I love late-night food a lot; sometimes I do wake up in the middle of the night to eat, but because I haven’t had any problems with it, I just want to continue until my stomach starts rejecting it.
Medical checkups are very good to do, even if not for anything but for the safety of our health and to make sure we are living a healthy life as well.
we should take good care of our health regardless of how expensive it might be because health is wealth.
Yes o, health is wealth because every amount spent on it worth it
Your caption said it all sis. We must not wait until its too late.
And we must always take note of those changes in our body which calls for check ups. Happy your sister is a nurse.
Yes ma’am, our health is the most important thing to us and that is why we must never joke with it
Exactly sis. Happy mid-week 🌺
Eating in the middle of the night 😂 that's really funny.
About the man that died, that is really heart breaking. He may not know that he is already having high BP but regular checkup would have helped. May his soul rest in peace.
“May his soul rest in peace” amen sometimes it is good to always know our what is happening with our health so that we could take good care of it
Yes, it is very important but most of us take it lightly.
Think BP is a silent killer. May God continue to protect us.
