Hmmm, and once they tried and failed they will eventually come back to ask for your help, that’s a good point because some children will feel like you are doing too much if you tell them not to take the decision.

One of my friends studied medicine because her parents insisted, and after she graduated, she dropped the certificate for her parents and went to pursue her dancing career.
She is doing well in that aspect today and you won't even know she was once a medical student.
We need to allow them to make their own choices👌
