You have said well. Those students who cram and buy their way to make good grades are only deceiving themselves if they fail to practicalize what they have been taught. Going to school isn't only the measure for being intelligent, it is how you are able to deal with life's experiences, solve problems and adapt to situations around you.
Someone who didn't go to school might be intelligent than someone who does and comes out with good grades.
