FACEBOOK MONETIZATION!
For the past months, I’ve seen the buzz all over the #internet as well as testimonials of some content creators and even lucky regular users getting to have a #monetized account, especially on Facebook. This has become so rampant and it has encouraged other users to strive in a way to meet up with their accounts as well to see if they could get monetized just like other users.
My take on this is that it is indeed a good and positive improvement to see that #content creation on #social media, especially Facebook, has now been greatly monetized by thousands of users, be it #content_creators or just a regular user.
I must say that this is a nice upgraded feature by the #Facebook or call it meta team! #rewarding their most active users for doing the simple things they love to do as well as engaging on the platform. I think that is the #web2 to #web3 transition we have all been looking out for, and it’s finally here at our doorstep.
One disadvantage of this upgrade is the fact that it could lead to a dispense of many fake and misleading #information all in the name of content creation, finding the audience, creating engagement, and all sorts, before #monetizing your content. I just hope and pray it doesn’t get to a point where we have more Facebook content creation doing more harm than good. Even though I know we have started to have some disadvantages already, I can only hope and pray that it doesn’t get worse than this.
I believe shortly, Facebook and other social media platforms that go into monetizing users' accounts will implant some rules for monetization. Oh yes of course I think that is already taking place because I remember a user who owns a monetized Facebook account coming out to tell us that he won’t be able to publish certain types of content as Facebook warned him that it was considered misleading in a way and facebook had to take it down for the safety of other users and genuity of the platform.
So, by this, I believe we have to worry less about the negative side of content monetization on Facebook because I believe the team has set in some good algorithms and rules to swiftly handle certain information being published in the space.
Although one big challenge I see incoming is the case of accounts getting #hacked with the increased number of #hackers on the internet, imagine a monetized account getting hacked with a whole lot of funds in it. That could be a very challenging situation for the owner of such an account.
But I strongly believe the #security of your account is fully in the hands of the owner. Make sure your account is well secured with a strong password and two-factor authentication (2FA) to further enhance the security of your account and make sure no one gets access to it without your consent. Additionally, avoid clicking links that may be phishing to avoid losing your account.

I'm not sure I get the idea of hash tagging some of the words you used in your post 🤔
Anything that pays money will definitely be abused in one way or the other, we have to accept that, find a way to limit it and move on.
Nice header image by the way 😍
