There is almost no limit to how much one can get from the internet as long as there is data and a phone or other device to connect to internet. It would require lot of time and words to begin to list the benefits of internet since its invention. I think the number one and best value from internet yet is the volume of information readily available there and easy access to the informations, just few clicks, input of data and sometimes transactions. Unlike decades back, we no longer need to visit book stores, libraries, or be physically present to access informations, it can be done right there in the room on a device, at your own comfort. The world has evolved into what we now call the digital age or era.
In a world where every aspect of life is gradually been integrated into technology in one way or another, it seems impossible to do without the internet. Should we talk about how the internet especially social media became a huge thing during and after Covid, the whole world had to connect somewhere, the internet was the ground that made it possible. We literally knew what was going on in other parts of the world more than any news channel could. In fact, 95% of information on news were gotten online because there was local, national and international restrictions. What of streams of income available on the internet, the rate of digital jobs and skills one could earn from. The possibilities of rendering services and getting paid without meeting physically. Possiblity of meeting with people you only dreamed of online, connecting with people continents away and feeling like you're so close, knowing so much about a thing, a person or a place without having to be present. You and I on hive, writing, publishing contents, earning from it is all thanks to the invention of the internet. With internet, block chain and cryptocurrency became possible, seamless transactions were made online though apps, website became a thing, knowledge and learning became accessible and easier, other inventions came alive because of the internet.
In this era, access to the internet is not a choice because it can't be avoided. One way or another, it will be needed. The world is already into the internet world and I don't think it will do pretty well if internet is no more a thing. What do we do about the money in online banks, the cryptos in wallets,the jobs acquired online, history of transactions of money, agreements etc, earning online, joining live meetings or hangouts, your own social media accounts, years of building a good portfolio, story or brand online, the vast amount of information and knowledge online in different formats like videos (YouTube, Instagram) text (websites, articles, e-books), the birth of the era of artificial intelligence . I don't think this present world can do much without the internet, we've come too far and too invested in it to leave. Truth is it's just the beginning, there are more to come, artificial intelligence, easy automations are yet to be well explored.
It would be a big violation of right if certain people are restricted from the internet, why ? The bad effect of the internet ? There are better measures to solve or reduce that. To me, internet is not an option especially to every individual that is involved in it, children, youths and adult who have a life on the internet. It might be easy for the older generation who still don't have any business with the internet but not with us the Gen Z. What and where do we begin ? It would be impossible to cope, what about the informations that came during the era of internet, ones that had no physical records, books, journals, researches, informations, etc. Every human has a right to access the internet as long as they are of considerable age.

Truth be told, I haven't imagined a world without the internet, not even in my dreams; if it happened in my dream, I would go to the mountain to pray after the dream.
The internet so far has been helpful to the youths of this modern day, imagine earning foreign currency from the comfort of your home.
I don't think such a rule should passed on how the internet is used.
It has has been a leverage for many, to connect, learn and earn.
