My First Cooking Experience

I was maybe ten or eleven then.In the afternoon I saw a very simple recipe for making pancakes on TV .My mom used to make pancakes .I loved to eat.But that day mom was not at home .She went to one of my aunt's house.Even if she wanted to take me, I didn't go.So I was alone at home.I thought I would make pancakes myself .

I went to the kitchen but could not find where the flour was kept .I found it after much searching .I took the milk out of the fridge and warmed it slightly.Pouring milk into the flour and I spread it with a spoon .Then it's time to mix egg.I had never broken an egg before so I had to face a lot of trouble while breaking the egg. I broke the egg first in a separate bowl. It took a bit of peeling though I removed it with a spoon. Then I added a few spoons of sugar.

I mixed the whole thing well.I put it on the stove and turned on the gas.After heating for a while, I poured the prepared mixture.The mixture thickened a bit after a while.A sweet smell was spreading around.How great I was feeling then!After waiting for some more time I switched off the stove. Taking the pancake on a plate ,I cut it into a few pieces with a knife. I took a bite and although the sugar was too much,it was not too bad to eat.Then I enjoyed my pancake party.I left some pieces for my parents.Oh yeah.I was the only child of my parents then.My sister was not born yet.

Although mom was a little bit angry as it was quite dangerous but later she praised me a loy father came he also praised a lot.The joy found in doing something for the first time seems like nowhere else.That moment is precious to me.😇
