Great day again fellow learners, I’m glad to share with you another wonderful achievement today. It’s always interesting and entertaining as well enthusiastic when learning especially in the world of IoT(Internet of Things) technology. Being part of this community called IoT Africa is very beneficial
Today, we built a sensor system using the Ultra Sonic Sensor, Arduino-Uno board, LED, Breadboard and Buzzer. Someone new in this field, I’m still learning and trust me it’s very interesting and I’m already loving it.
This is how we build it, it senses distance and we gave it a target distance and so if that gap is closed then we should have the LED on or blinking and the Buzzer making noise and it stops when the distance is more than the targeted distance.
This was good time learning with people and I actually enjoyed, I made friends who is already good at it and right now one of them is helping me in everything even when I don’t have the tools, he offered me his to try it out, he inspired me and even told me that same bike can be use to make a fire alarm, how amazing.
This was a good time learning with new people, and them giving me the chance to explore and experience new things, building my interest and creativity in IoT.
Next week will even be the best experience as we will be using the IoT technology to connect devices that you could even use one remote to connect and control many devices at home. I can’t wait.
