My fitness journey.

If hitting the gym is basically the only option to get fit then I don't think fitness would ever be a goal for me, I say this because I'm not really the type that feels comfortable doing some kind of stuff around people.

So going to the gym where they would definitely be a lot of people around watching, is a No No for me.

But then I always thought I didn't have a reason to want to keep fit, that the whole fitness thing was for people that wanted to burn some fat and all that, besides I wasn't fat so there was no plans on burning the little fat I had that at least still make me look good in some dress.lol

Well my whole mentality about the whole fitness thing changed when I suddenly started putting in some weird weight and was looking so not me.

First it started with my cheeks for some weird reasons my cheeks started to look plumpy and the my under arm, I started to have the ( christian mother's kinda arm). The whole thing wasn't sexy at all because my body was still same like slim same and I was serious adding weight at those weird places, that doesn't make a young lady look sexy or hot.

So first I stopped some bad habits like eating junks instead of a real meal, oh I didn't mention I was a lover of junk food and late night meal too. I started a new food routine, so I set out a good balanced diet table for the right thing and time to eat, I also added drinking of water, enough water to the routine.

But then I realized that the food routine wasn't enough, because it wasn't completely giving me what I wanted, then I started doing some push ups, sit ups.

I started with thrice a week because initially it was quite difficult, I was feeling so much pains but then with time I started getting use to it and then it's now like a daily thing that I do every morning, while listening to some good music.

Another thing I added was jogging but I only do that on weekends. I go jogging for like an hour, listening to good music too, I discovered that jogging is really good and that it helps to regulate the rate of high blood pressure.

So, so far I can say I'm healthy and fit though not enough yet because honestly as little as the the fitness thing is, it isn't really easy that sometimes I don't do any workout at all, well not because I forget but then because I probably didn't have enough sleep and still feel a bit weak by morning, and all I really want to do is just remain on bed all day.
