Lol! Aside from medicines for minor illness such as flu or diarrhea, I don't think I would be able to see medicines just lying on supermarket shelves specially if they were expensive ones cause they probably would require prescription so you can only find them on Pharmacy or was it different for Malaysia? 🤔
As for alcohol, I would probably be temp to just keep it for my self if I were to have expensive ones so that's a no go.
