QUESTION FOR COMPREHENSION

Have been on hive blog for almost a year now if not more, and I can't be proud of having an upvotes on a single piece that counts to $1 before ( most times none). It makes me feel bad and very discouraging. Sometimes I don't even feel like coming online. Have been soo upset recently, and I want to know; what are the things I can really do to earn good upvotes ? Is there a group that gives upvotes to its members aside from normal hive communities ? Are there community tokens I need to hold in order to have upvotes from that community ? ( each time I make a post in that community) are there discord channels I must belong to ? Please someone should help a brother because I was considering quitting totally.

As someone has also been at that point of almost quitting, I'll give you some advice since you asked for it.

1. Mindset shift.
   This is the very first thing you need. If you sole aim is to make money, then you probably won't make a lot of money. Which brings me to number two.
2. Provide value.
   I checked about 10 random posts from your blog. You had a post that had just 7 words. Your posts rarely cross 100 words. They don't seem very original. NB: This might be a wrong conclusion. I only did a quick peruse of some of your posts.
   Even if your sole aim is money, I guess it's still fine, but don't expect that you'll make that money for free. You have got to work for it. Make people happy, inspired, educated, or entertained enough that they'll gladly part with their money/upvotes because they consider you to be worth it. Make your posts longer and fuller.
3. Indeed, there are discord groups you could join to share your posts, but in my experience, they don't bear too much utility. Still doesn't hurt to join them.
4. Comment and upvotes other people's posts too. You wanna take, your gotta learn to give first.
5. It is my observation that video posts tend to do better then plain text posts. I might be wrong, but that's what I think. So where possible, try to post a video, people are more likely to watch them. Which is why I'm blessed that I mostly post music on here.
6. I'm on the grind with you too, so, goodluck to us all.
   I hope my bosses will see this and give you some extra tips that I have left out.
