I greatly admire and respect Japanese culture, but it truly has certain differences from Western culture.
You have to be very aware if you want to live there, that there are some very pleasant situations, but there will also be difficult situations to accept, which you won't understand because of the differences between their culture and that of the average Westerner.
As a tourist, a place can be great, in most cases, but living in a country with such a different culture can be a challenge.

The culture really is very different, I'm not sure of the total difference, but I certainly need to take it easy and observe things well if I move there or if I go for a walk, it's something totally different from here.
