Compliments of the season to you all!
The long awaited festive week is finally here, and as we set in, the air is buzzing with excitement. While few persons doesn't celebrate Christmas, a lot of persons do in the way they can ranging from the family gatherings down to the meals shared and sharing gifts. It's also the time to execute all those our wonderful plans we've been making all year long, heheh.... Hopefully, they are pocket-friendly, so we don't enter 2025 with mountains load of debts...

The Christmas season is always a season filled with joy in many aspects... It's the season where Christians remember the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the form of human being thousands of years ago to be a sacrificial lamb and reconnect us with God again.

It's also the season when many families get to welcome a lot of wives and in-laws as the season is constantly brimming with weddings and many singles will be finding their missing ribs in the village, *though some might lead to something good, whereas others will just end in tears in few months later. But we keep trying regardless, right?

Personally, my Christmas is yet to start fully but obviously the starting of Christmas isn't necessarily about the date but it's basically all about getting into the Christmas vibes and I can say I've already started from the moments the Christmas carols and jingling bells of Christmas started, the season officially started.

To kick things off properly, I will be travelling to the village tomorrow. Other members of my family are already there, and I can't wait to join them. There are many activities to be enjoyed starting from the Christmas Eve mass then to the olenyi celebration which is one of the greatest celebration in my village, a celebration that commemorate the historical birth of our community, Obollo-Eke in Udenu Local Government Area, Enugu State.
Not to even talk of the numerous village league matches I'll be watching; much more wonderful since I'm not supporting any specific team but just going there for the love of football and enjoying pure beauty of football.

I am gently anticipating the fried rice and chicken that will be served that day also.. what's a good celebration without good delicious foods?, hehe. While I don't plan on eating till my belly bursts nor drink to stupor, I might come close to that line, just for the fun of the season, lol.

Beyond the festivities, I am also taking time to reflect on the year; see how far I have come, take note of my avoidable mistakes, learn from them and draft plans for a better ride come 2025.

Well, if you aren't observing Christmas, the holidays are still something special I think; availing you the time to meet and reconnect with your family members, share familial love and of course enjoy good delicious meals.

Whether you are celebrating Christmas or simply enjoying a well-deserved holiday break, I wish you a happy time and a prosperous New Year. Or are there people out there who doesn't celebrate New Year too?🌝

Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your day👍
