Happy New Year To You All!
Welcome to 2025, fellas! It is a new year, a moment for new opportunities and all... It's a fresh start for us all with renewed energy to pursue our dreams.
Just like other year, many of us will quickly rush to make New Year resolutions that inspire us to be better versions of ourselves. However, lose track of achieving them when the year's challenges comes by because of course, like every other year, we will be tested this year too coming with many ups and downs but the resilience to remain steadfast and focused on your goals makes the difference as always.
It's not just good enough to make goals, as wonderful as they look and not achieve them but, it's also not good enough to make unrealistic goals and raise your expectations leading to disappointments. That's where the concept of SMART goals comes in...
Using Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely in making all our goals remains the best strategy to achieving them as they make goals not just dreams but actionable plans we can execute throughout the year.
- Quality Post:
Writing has always been my core focus on Hive, and it remains so this year, I plan on continuing writing interesting and educative posts as always.
For a specific number of posts I would love to write this year, I'm really not sure but, I will make sure to write at least two hundred posts out of the 365 days we've got.
Reflecting on 2024 and seeing I was able to write 171 posts for 160 days despite being choked by academic examinations, I am impressed by myself. While it's tempting to set an even higher target, I want to ensure it's realistic and achievable.
- Exploring Tokens on Hive:
Beyond writing, I want to broaden my knowledge on the Hive ecosystem, particularly its token and the broader Web3 packages.
Engaging more actively with the token economy and expanding my knowledge in this area will help diversify my contributions and open new avenues for growth in the Hive ecosystem.
- Hive Engagements:
My engagement also suffered the hit last year as I barely had enough time to engage actively like I used to do but I'll be reversing to the old me of reading atleast five different posts from different authors everyday.
This not only help my visibility but also broadens your knowledge on numerous topics people post as engagement is a key to thriving on Hive.
As the saying goes, "the more you read, the more you know".
- Consistency:
To stay consistent, I plan on writing atleast three times a week. This will help keep my page alive and active so that any visitor will have something new to see at all times.
This will also help me get better at writing and contribute meaningfully to the communities.
- Hive Power:
One of my major goals for 2025 is to end with at least 4,000 HP. This means that I need to accumulate atleast 214HP every month.
To achieve this, I plan on writing quality contents and also powering up once in a while as well. As scary as it may be, it's what I want to achieve by the end of the year and it's possible.
In conclusion, it won't be easy trying to achieve those goals but with the help of SMART technique, I am confident that 2025 will be a better year and a successful one at that.
🥂🥂Here's to resilience, growth, and a fulfilling year for us all!
Thanks for reading and have a nice day ahead 👍
