Cheers! to a new effect pedal in the house!
It has been one of the dreams I had for 2025, and it is already coming to pass. I have more dreams regarding my music career and all that is left to fulfil it is my faith and hope. At the same time, with this new effect pedal, I will make sure to be making necessary steps that I move closer to building and making sure other dreams come to pass.
They say a dream without effort put towards it is just a wish. If you truly want something, you have to walk towards it.

So Why Nux MG-30?
If you are a guitar person and you are close to me, you will know that the former effect pedal, which I was using and is now faulty, was the Nux MG-20 and now I have moved to a higher version. I will say I have fallen in love with the Nu-X effect since I used the MG-20. I didn't have much issues with it but due to mishandling by me, it became faulty. The former effect lasted about 4 years before it became faulty, so I used my money well on it.
The trade-off of the former effect was the weight. It was very heavy to carry; now imagine having to keep it in the same bag with a Les Paul guitar that is also heavy in weight.
I ended up not liking heavy effect pedals and going for something light and not too big in size became my interest. I told myself if I was to get an effect pedal next, I would consider the weight before buying it and something that I can easily put in the same bag as my guitar.
Hence BOOM! 💣💥💥💥
Nu-X released a new model of the MG Series, and this time it was everything I was looking for in an effect pedal. I loved it more because it could be used as an audio interface, which means even without a sound card, you can still record your a DAW with just your effect. This was so cool, and since then, I had targeted that I would buy it but I didn't know when. I just knew that the day would come.

The guitarist in my church has exactly the same Nux MG-30, which he bought just some few months ago
