Ever since the internet comes into people life, we have seen a significant changes. The internet which is considered as a boon has fundamentally changed the way we communicate, access information, conduct business, learn, and interact socially by enabling near instant global connectivity, providing vast amounts of information readily available, facilitating online commerce, offering remote learning opportunities, and creating platforms for social interaction through social media. Today internet is an integral part of every human life.
Internet has shrinking the world and making it more interconnected than ever before. With the innovation, Email, messaging apps, and video calls have replaced traditional methods like letters and phone calls, allowing for near-instant communication across the globe. The internet provides access to a massive amount of information on virtually any topic through search engines, making research and learning significantly easier. Online shopping platforms have revolutionized retail, enabling people to purchase goods from anywhere in the world with a few clicks. Internet allows online learning platforms provide access to courses and educational materials from around the world, allowing for flexible learning options. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have created new ways to connect with friends, family, and like-minded people globally. Remote work has become increasingly common due to the internet, enabling people to work from anywhere with an internet connection. Streaming services and online gaming platforms have transformed how people consume entertainment.
Restricting Internet usage.
In todays time when we are hugely dependent on internet, any kind lf restriction is going to backfire our life. It means access to the web is limited, potentially impacting communication, information access, online services, and overall connectivity. To point out here are some of immediate impact of internet restrictions :
Difficulty finding news, research materials, and educational content online.
Challenges in contacting friends, family, and colleagues via online platforms.
Limited access to streaming services, online games, and other digital entertainment.
Potential slowdown in business operations relying on online services.
With so much over dependency, individuals may face challenges with work, education, entertainment, and social interaction.
Internet as Fundamental rights ✅️
We are so much relying on it that our government has made "access to the internet as a fundamental right in India". Internet access is a fundamental right under Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution. Some other countries that have recognized internet access as a fundamental right include: France, Finland, Costa Rica, Spain, and Canada
The right to internet access is essential for exercising fundamental rights like freedom of speech and expression, access to information, and education. Unequal access to the internet can curtail the right to education and acquiring knowledge.
Stopping someone or putting a restrictions from using the internet, is widely considered a violation of human rights. As such instances restricts access to information and freedom of expression, which are fundamental rights protected under international law. Denying internet access can significantly impact other human rights such as the right to participate in political life, access to healthcare information, and the ability to report human rights abuses.
It should be noted that, while some restrictions on internet access may be justified in specific situations, such as to prevent imminent threats to national security, they must be proportionate and necessary. We have seen at many instances the temporary shutdown, bring back the people to real world. People can live without the internet, but it would be more difficult. But gradually they will adapt to the chabges. The way they make themselves dependent, same way they adjust their life further. But hope such things does not happen ever.
In good faith - Peace!!

The Internet has definitely turned this world upside down! If you had told me when I was a young kid watching my dad dial into the local bulletin board we would be at this point, I never would have believed you.
The remote online learning you mentioned is a very important factor here. Internet has done so many great things despite how people are seeing it as that one thing affecting the young ones negatively.
We should be looking at the advantages of technology and innovation which has helped people so much.
My children has gained so much from learning online which is made possible through internet connections
Good evening my brothers and greetings to all of us today.Interesting article you have shown.

Is internet a boon or a curse? That's a raging debate for years now.
It’s hard to imagine a world without instant access to information or the ability to connect with people anywhere.
Its very true that restricting internet access can have serious consequences. While some control might be necessary in certain situations, it should never take away people’s basic rights. The internet has become a necessity, not just a luxury. Hopefully, we continue to use it for good and make it accessible to everyone.
Great read!
