It was in one of the viral video on social media, which made me to look into the wild side of the Fan. Post the India vs Pakistan match, a crazy fan started shouting, dancing and doing crazy stuffs after ace cricketer Virat Kohli hit the winning run. I felt quite Strange to find people become fans by developing a strong interest and admiration for a particular person or celeberity. Some people go berserk and started worship them like God.

In our day to day life, we often comes across various news or instance where a fan go berserk towards their celeberity be it a sportsman or actor/ actress. People get fans through getting some personal connection, and a sense of belonging to a community of like-minded individuals who share that passion. This can be fueled by factors like enjoying their work, identifying with their values, and actively engaging with their content or performances. Fans often feel happy and motivated when their celebrity achieves success.
Fans often react to their celebrities with excitement, admiration, and a sense of connection, showing enthusiasm through activities like actively following their social media, attending events, seeking autographs, sharing fan art, and expressing strong support for their projects, sometimes even feeling a sense of personal connection or "parasocial relationship" with the celebrity, especially when the celebrity engages with their fans online. Some fans develop a deep emotional bond with their celebrity, relating to their personal stories or values.
While strong fandom is common, extreme behaviors like stalking or harassment are not acceptable and can be harmful. Fans can become aggressive towards celebrities due to a complex mix of factors including a sense of parasocial relationship, unrealistic expectations, feelings of entitlement, mental health issues, and a distorted perception of personal connection, often fueled by intense admiration and the illusion of intimacy with the celebrity, even though they don't know the person personally. This may lead to frustration and anger when boundaries are not met.
Fans may develop a strong emotional connection with a celebrity, believing they have a personal relationship, which can lead to anger when their perceived connection isn't reciprocated. Fans might have unrealistic expectations about how a celebrity should behave or interact with them, leading to disappointment and frustration when those expectations are not met. Some fans may identify strongly with a celebrity, seeing them as a representation of their own desires or aspirations, which can lead to anger when the celebrity does something perceived as contrary to their image. Some fans may feel entitled to a celebrity's time and attention, leading to anger when their requests are not fulfilled.
Looking at the aggresive situation, it is important a fan should be mindful and also watchful. Raising awareness about the importance of respecting celebrities' privacy and personal space can help mitigate aggressive fan behavior. Celebrities should be mindful of maintaining appropriate boundaries with fans to manage expectations.
Educating Fans:
I am happy not to ve so attracted towards any of the celeberity. Buy going beyond the limit just to cheer them is not something I am.habitual too. I Don have some admiration and role model, but acting awkwardly towards them is not my cup of coffee. Still I feel sorry for such people who get so addicted towards any celeberity.
In good faith - Peace!!
Fan has a few other function other than cheering and worshiping.
