However, after spending some time on here, I realized that the rules are the most important factors that make the platform really interesting, and because of that, I look forward to being on this platform for long, and spending as much time as possible reading from other people, engaging other people’s posts, learning, and earning.
Before the end of last year, I had a conversation with one of my Hive friends, @abdul-qudus about the buzzy badges. He was on his way to getting the yearly buzzy badge for 2024, and I couldn’t but give him the kudos for his consistency and determination to hit the target. Then, he challenged me to try it out in 2025.
With that challenge, I knew I needed a plan to make it possible. A realistic one at that. So, I did draw the plans in my head hoping to write it out someday before the end of last year, but I didn’t.
Now, thanks to Hive Learners question for the week, which is asking me what plans I have to be a better hiver in this new year, which means that I have an opportunity to document my plans now, and hold myself accountable to make sure I try to reach the goals set for the year.
So, what are the goals?
Out of the nine months that I’ve spent on Hive, I have a lot of missed days when I didn’t write nor engage nor even log in to the platform at all. In this year, I intend to change that. I’ll make sure that Hive becomes a part of my daily routine such that I won’t miss out a day without writing at least one post. I have free tickets now to ask for help from the seniors on here, and I will make sure to ask for tips from them as soon as possible.
Despite my inconsistency, I was able to build my hive power to a little over 600. Then, I realized that my voting power increased. I remember the excitement I felt when I discovered that my votes on other people’s posts now add a little to their earnings.
Even though it is small, I intend to add to other people’s earnings through my upvotes by making sure as much as possible I avoid powering down.
I want to be optimistic and say that I want to earn as high as 50HP per week, but my account status needs some level of consistency to be there. So, I’ll stick to 20Hp weekly for now. I also plan to be involved in Power Up days using my liquid Hives. By mid year, I should already be confident enough to have about 50HP weekly rewards to hit the target of 2000Hp by the end of the year.
I’ve been doing better with engaging other people’s posts in the past months, and I intend to keep that up. Also, the communities where I have been an active member will see more of my engagements, and I intend to explore some other communities that I find interesting. I hope that by the end of the year, I would've made new friends on Hive with solid relationships outside of Hive.
One other very important plan that I have is being present in the City that never sleep. The few friends I’ve made on Hive is largely from joining the community, and I intend to resume back to being an active member. Oh, I should drop by the City right away.
Happy New Year, everyone. Thanks for reading to the end.

I hope you manage to achieve your goals, I am sure that writing daily is hard, it requires enormous effort, because you will not always have the desire to do it. (I have tried, only getting halfway done).
And regarding your hive power, I hope you achieve it, I know it can be achieved, in my case I would already have like 5000 HP if I were not forced to use my hive to cover daily living expenses.
Thank you for the encouragement. I hope that life will be kinder to you this year so you won't have to powerdown and meet your HP targets.
Thank you, I hope the same, my fight is being very hard.
Thank you very much.
